Acropolis of Lindos

Lindos is a beautiful little village of whitewashed houses at the foot of a steep hill where the ancient Acropolis of Lindos has stood for millennia. Lindos Acropolis was first constructed in the 4th century B.C., A theatre, tombs and churches that were built centuries later stand on the archeological site – a site considered to be the most impressive ancient site on the island.

Ancient Town of Kamiros

Kamiros is one of the three ancient Dorian cities founded on the island. Located on the southwest part of Rhodes, the ancient city was built on three levels. The ruins of an acropolis, temple of Athena, reservoir and stoa are still visible.

Ancient Town of Ialysos 

In the northern part of the island, Ialysos is where you’ll find an ancient Minoan settlement.
